Three Rivers Council - Scouting America

Who We Are

Three Rivers Council is a dedicated community of volunteers, families, leaders, and professionals committed to preparing young people for life through Scouting. We serve youth across 10 counties—Orange County, Jefferson County, Chambers County, Liberty County, Polk County, San Jacinto County, Hardin County, Tyler County, Jasper County, and Newton County—by providing safe, values-based programs that build confidence, leadership, service, and outdoor adventure. Together, we work to create future leaders by supporting character development and lifelong skills through the mission and values of Scouting.

What We Do

Three Rivers Council delivers youth programs through Scouting by helping young people build character, leadership, citizenship, and outdoor skills. We support Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Exploring programs by providing camping opportunities, volunteer training, advancement support, community service projects, and fundraising efforts that strengthen local families and communities. Our mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
