Who We Are
To alleviate the pain and suffering of the elderly, disabled, and low income, by providing basic needs. Making a positive impact in their lives and within our community of Mid-County. We service the residents of Port Arthur, Groves, Sabine Pass, Port Neches, and Nederland.
Founded October 1, 1981, by Judge Asa Trahan and his wife Betty, who recognized a need for this type of organization in Mid-County and operated under the name of Golden Triangle Christian Counseling. In 1996, When Olivia Arnold became the Executive Director the name changed to Community Care-Prayer Outreach to reflect the services provided and the new mission statement. Community Care-Prayer Outreach considers serving our community in Mid-County our greatest privilege and joy. We are extremely honored to be a part of the wonderful things being accomplished in and throughout both Community Care-Prayer Outreach and our community. We look forward in partnering with you to not only making things better for those in need within our community but creating lasting impacts on future generations to come.
