United Board of Missions

Center of Christian Service DBA United Board of Missions The United Board of Missions of Port Arthur, Texas began as a small outreach in the mid 1960's with the intention of acting against the effects of poverty in Jefferson County, becoming an official entity in 1969. Originating as a small group of Christians planning and operating from a house to a large non-profit organization, serving numerous people in and around Jefferson County.

The United Board of Missions is a local crisis intervention and family assistance organization. A coalition of Mid and South Jefferson County churches and volunteers motivated by the love of God to meet human needs and help re-establish themselves in life.
