Teach Educational Land Activities to students in regards to the Neches
vast and diverse ecosystems. Volunteers will be trained on the activities of
their choosing (Ex. Nature Exploration-Walk, Nature Games: Food Chain - Food
Web, Watershed – Pollution, Trash & Treasures). Most school trips are in
April and May between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Assistant may select volunteer days
from NRIB schedule which will include: date, timeframe, number of student
groups, student grade level, and number of volunteers for land activities.
